My students are currently working on several art projects.  The eighth grade students are designing their own boxes.  The 7th grade students are working on a line design, and the sixth grade students are doing collages.  I truly believe I have the best job in our school because we get to create.  We are also working on decorations for the school dance on Thursday.

This is my first blog.  I am an Art Teacher and would like to communicate with other Art Teachers around the country.  Are there any Art Teachers out there.  I love my job.  I feel so lucky to be doing what I seem to be meant to do.  I get a little frustrated because I can't seem to find the time to create my own art.  I'm so busy creating art with the students that by the time I get home to my husband and 2 year old I just don't feel like doing any more art work.  I'm sure there are a lot of Art Teachers that feel this way.
